Initially, uninstalling the driver of the "I2C HID Device" and then rebooting would solve the problem. Eventually that no longer worked. I decided to use software to update my drivers which didn't work either. I tried using drivers from Acer's support page for both the touchpad driver, and the Serial IO driver. This didn't work either.
The touchpad is no longer working after a W10 update and is also no longer showing in Device Manager. I have tried rolling back with system restore but no change. I then downloaded and installed the new correct ELAN driver, but it is still the same. Can anyone help me please? tR3Opu.
